Job title : HO Avionics-Airframe Systems and Airworthiness-Technical Library Cell
Accountabilities
The Jobholder is responsible for the oversight, delivery and performance of the Avionics and Airframe Systems and Airworthiness-Technical Library Cell activities provided to Airbus FTM Contracts, Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) - Tailored Support Package (TSP) and FHS Components (C) contracts.
In this function, the job holder is responsible for the overall organisation and management of activities and team under his/her perimeter and be responsible for maintaining the fleet under supervision to the highest Operational Reliability, in line with applicable airworthiness requirements such as EASA & NAA and in accordance with Airbus Technical Standards and FHS Financial interests.
Ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery of engineering deliverables to ensure delivery of FHS-C & FHS-TSP/FTM contracts as per workshare aligned with other FTM-CT teams, Airline Engineering teams (located in TLS) and TSP/FTM Engineering teams (at customer sites)
- all customers subscribing to Flight Hours Services, Components scope
- all customers, with focus per tail, subscribing to Flight Hours Services-Fleet technical management
Main activities
As a member of Airline Engineering management team, the job holder has accountability, with his/her peers and his/her manager, as a team to:
- Support on site Teams with initiatives and measures to maintain and enhance external customer satisfaction in-line with global Airline Engineering priorities and objectives
- Establish and optimize integrated workshare frameworks across FTM-CT, Toulouse-based Airline Engineering, and on-site Customer TSP Engineering teams to align deliverables and achieve shared objectives
- Put in place and run, a department operating model allowing control of business activities (performance, risk…) and associated resources
- Foster the development and implementation of standardized processes, methods and tools, in coordination with the CAM Plateau, to improve efficiency and quality of activities performed
- Represent Airline Engineering in front of Customer as and when deemed necessary
- Support FHS-TSP/FTM & FHS-C sales campaigns when necessary
The jobholder is responsible for the organization and management of team(s)
reporting operationally to him/her, which consists in:
- Organization and staffing of team as per business requirement,
- Translating the Airbus FHS and Airline Engineering Domain strategy into clear activities for his/her team,
- Ensuring his/her team objectives are defined and manage individual performance of his/her team members,
- Engaging and develop his/her team & managing team skills, competences & knowledge, supporting mobility
- Anticipate succession planning,
- Managing integration of remote staff (as and when applicable),
- Managing budget, AOP, Risks and Opportunities in coordination with HO FTM Engineering and FHS Programs interfaces,
- Promote employee & team well being and ensure a work organization compliant to time management
With the integrated support and contribution of Airline Engineering teams,
the jobholder and his/her teams are responsible to deliver the following activities
as per the workshare defined between engineering functions,
- Ensure accurate control of Avionics and Airframe Systems Modifications and effect on configuration,
- Ensure efficient & cost beneficial technical publications & reliability analysis for Avionics and Airframe Systems
- Ensure highest degree of engineering deliverables for all Avionics and Airframe Systems activities. This includes providing engineering assistance to region on-site team on technical issues, maintenance activities related to repair and overhaul, performance review, management of landing gear induction into fleet,
- Support the development and implementation of standardized processes, methodologies, and tools to drive operational efficiency and elevate output quality
- Follow/improve component and aircraft reliability & availability by;
- Performing necessary reports and actions as per RCP to meet Airworthiness Authority requirements,
- Support Airline Engineering teams in identifying and performing reliability analysis to reduce costs related to components,,
- Support local engineering teams which focuses to proactively improve A/C performance and reduce Customer costs,
- Drive anticipated identification and improvement of FHS top critical technical issues,
- Capitalise the use of FHS powered by skywise world wide fleet experience, to help address the airline's technical and operational issues thereby improving fleet performance & reliability in a cost effective approach.
- Airworthiness-Technical Library Cell
- Manage Tech Librarian role to ensure monitoring of collection and distribution of publications
- Manage A/C AD-SB status / Component VSB applicability and status, as necessary
- Support Airworthiness review process for FHS-TSP/FTM in coordination with other Engineering teams, Planning & Technical Records focals and also manage annual Airworthiness Reports to Customer/Authorities
- Support Lease Return activities required in the frame of FHS-C or FHS-TSP/FTM as necessary
- Ensure applicable airworthiness and technical publications management by;
- Review technical documentations (AD, SB, VSB, SIL, TFU, AOT…), providing the most suitable recommendation to FHS and the airline
- Manage A/C AD-SB status / Component VSB applicability and status, as necessary
- Review of component technical standards as per contract source and the impact analysis on aircraft configuration (ELA, W&B)
- Manage initialization and update of Electrical Load Analysis, Weight & Balance Register and Field Loadable Software Repository, as necessary
- Drive Engineering activities for Entry-Into Service of new contract or new aircraft as needed, including MIS setup, configuration change management, FTM engineering setup, etc
- Contributing to daily operations activities,
- Manage queries from Customer / TSP
- Perform the fleet health monitoring (airframe, engines and APU) and provide recommendation as necessary,
- Ensure quality of data in IT Tools (including but not limited to MIS)
- Define needs for digital tools for engineering and maintenance activities,
- Contribute to the performance and unique added-value of FHS services,
- Provide business expertise to support the development of solutions,
- Test/implement the available solutions, to feedback on benefits and added values,
- Monitor associated cost reduction or performance improvements.
- Support and Contribute to CAM & Department Performance Reviews

Job Requirement
- Minimum degree holder in Engineering (preferably Aerospace) or AME, with specialisation in related fields
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Airline / OEM / MRO, mainly in Technical Services leadership position
