As Head of Operations at Budding Mariners, you will oversee all operational functions to drive efficiency, educational impact, and business growth. This role requires expertise in operations management, time management, data analysis (MS Excel, DBMS), communication (written and spoken English), problem-solving, content writing, and proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
A paramedical background is highly valued, as it brings clinical discipline, a patient-care mindset, and regulatory awareness essential in a maritime training environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy and Execution - Develop strategies to optimize workflows, resource allocation, and educational outcomes.
- Resource and Data Management - Manage budgets, facilities, and equipment; use data analysis to track performance, identify improvements, and maintain organized records.
- Communication and Collaboration - Foster collaboration among faculty, staff, and students; prepare clear reports and presentations using Google Workspace and MS Office.
- Content and Documentation - Create engaging content for internal and external communications (policy documents, newsletters, website updates) and maintain thorough documentation.
- Problem-Solving and Compliance - Address operational challenges, ensure regulatory compliance, and meet deadlines through effective time management.
- Quality and Professionalism - Uphold high standards to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding - Participate in the full hiring process for operational and teaching staff, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
