About the RoleThe Growth Strategist (Reddit) will own the end-to-end growth and engagement strategy for Lochs Reddit presence. Working closely with the marketing and content teams, this role is responsible for building an active, high-quality subreddit community, driving subscriber growth, and maintaining a healthy, moderated environment that reflects the organization's values. This is a platform-native role: the successful candidate will be a genuine Reddit user with a deep understanding of community culture, content dynamics, and what drives meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own subscriber and Monthly Active User (MAU) growth targets; develop and execute a rolling content and engagement calendar.
• Seed high-quality posts, initiate discussions, and actively participate in threads as an authentic community voice.
• Design and run community activation programs including AMAs, themed discussions, weekly prompts, and challenges.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage a moderation team; establish community rules, tone guidelines, and escalation protocols.
• Identify, recognise, and retain top contributors through ambassador programs, flair systems, and structured engagement initiatives.
• Monitor community sentiment and surface insights to marketing and product teams.
• Collaborate with content and brand teams to integrate Reddit into broader marketing and communications strategy.
• Track and report weekly on KPIs including subscriber growth, engagement rates, moderation queue performance, and contributor retention.
• Coordinate sponsored AMAs and partnership activations in compliance with Reddits advertising guidelines.
• Conduct A/B testing on post formats, posting schedules, and incentive structures to optimise engagement outcomes.

Key Deliverables

• Subscriber growth rate of 15% month-on-month sustained across the first two quarters.
• DAU/MAU ratio above 20% within six months.
• Moderation queue response time maintained below two hours.
