About the internship
About Spicey GuavaWe're a bold, creative, and slightly spicey boutique marketing agency specializing in F&B, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands. At Spicey Guava, we don't do boring things. We help businesses stand out with scroll-stopping visuals and smart strategy. We're growing fast and are looking for a Graphic Design Intern who's got a sharp eye, a steady hand, and a genuine love for clean, scroll-stopping design - someone who's ready to learn the ropes of agency life while contributing real work to real client accounts from day one. What You'll DoAs a Graphic Design Intern, you'll work closely with the design and social media teams to bring client content to life across multiple brand accounts.Design & Execution
- Design social media creatives - static posts, carousels, stories, and covers - across client accounts in F&B, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
- Translate briefs and moodboards into polished, on-brand visuals.
- Support with illustrations, icons, and custom graphic elements as needed.
- Edit and retouch photos for social and campaign use. Collaboration & Process
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager and content team to understand brand guidelines and creative direction for each account.
- Take feedback constructively and turn around revisions quickly.
- Stay organized across multiple client folders, file versions, and deadlines.
- Keep an eye on design trends, fonts, and visual styles that are currently working on Instagram.
Production Support
- Assist during shoots with basic styling or reference shots, if required.
- Help prep print-ready or export-ready files when needed (packaging, collateral, etc.)
Who You Are
- Currently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Comfortable working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, plus Canva and Procreate.
- Sharp attention to detail - you notice misaligned text, off-brand colours, and sloppy spacing before anyone else does.
- A strong sense of layout, typography, and colour.
- Organized and able to manage multiple briefs and deadlines without dropping the ball.
- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited to grow in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A portfolio (college projects, personal work, or freelance work all count) that shows your design thinking, not just pretty pictures.
