The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Global Category Transactional Support role provides transactional and operational support across procurement processes, with a primary focus on master data maintenance, system updates, reporting support, and the delivery of standardized procurement services in line with customer requirements and process guidelines. This position helps ensure the quality, accuracy, and harmonization of procurement-related data, including vendor and material master data, while supporting global back-office operations across systems, time zones, and language requirements. At more advanced levels, the role also involves conducting root cause analysis, identifying systemic issues, recommending process and control improvements, and leading standardization or continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen data quality, compliance, service delivery, and operational efficiency through analytics and cross-functional collaboration. Your key responsibilities would be to:
- Provide transactional procurement support through maintenance of vendor and material master data, system updates, and delivery of standardized daily services in line with customer requirements and process guidelines.
- Ensure data quality, harmonization, and reporting accuracy across procurement-related datasets to support operational visibility, performance monitoring, and effective back-office operations in a global environment.
- Monitor process compliance and support standardization, globalization, and control enhancement efforts to strengthen service quality, consistency, and operational reliability.
