The Assistant Vice President – Global Billing Data Sourcing and Governance Lead is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and transforming the billing function within the global delivery framework. This role ensures billing data operations are scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise goals. The AVP also provides leadership across high-level delivery operations and plays a pivotal role in driving platform transformation and operational efficiency.
Strategic Leadership & Operations:
Lead Data Sourcing, Data Governance, Billing Rules, Billing Catalogue (GBIC), and Data Governance Team to ensure billing data can be automated within Data Hub and sent to downstream applications including ORMB within a controlled and governed environment
Partner with Fee Schedule Governance to define and implement standardized billing methodologies, aligning fee schedules, billing rules, and calculation logic across products and regions to ensure consistent, accurate billing and reduce exceptions
Partner with invoicing and setup teams to help identify opportunities for manual data reduction and conversion of manual data sources to automation in Data Hub ( at product, system level)
Partner with product teams (Data Hub, CSA - Client service architecture, and ORMB - Oracle Revenue Management and Billing)) to deliver smooth IT deployments and ongoing enhancements
Result-oriented with an ownership and accountability mindset
Drive pay for performance and culture of performance differentiation
Executive presence, managing with influence and effective communication across stakeholder groups both regionally and globally
Embed risk excellence culture across the teams
Encourage and drive a culture of change and ideation

Taking accountability of end-to-end outcomes as an enterprise, collaborating across functions/business and locations
Own critical KPIs such as:
Increasing billing data Straight Through Processing
Accurate billing data volumes published to billing platforms
Billing data governance compliance as per Enterprise Data Governance Standards
Compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit readiness
Track and analyze metrics to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
Effective Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the executive liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including Finance, Delivery Heads, Clients Service Teams and Auditors
Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams (Client Service, SOX, IT, Risk) to ensure integrated and transparent billing operations.
Represent billing operations in operational committees and client governance forums.
Communicate transformation goals, progress, and performance to stakeholders with clarity and influence.
People & Change Leadership:
Lead a team of senior managers, managers and associates; create a culture of ownership, innovation, and operational excellence.
Drive organizational change by effectively communicating vision, managing resistance, and ensuring adoption of new systems and processes.
Foster leadership development and succession planning within the billing and delivery functions.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (preferred).
10+ years of experience in billing, finance operations, or global delivery, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the BFSI sector.
Proven experience in managing global or offshore delivery operations at scale.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
