We are looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join our team as a Fundraising, Grants & Strategic Growth Intern. The selected intern will work closely with the leadership team on fundraising initiatives, investor outreach, grant research, partnership development, and strategic business growth opportunities.
This role offers hands-on exposure to startup fundraising, investor relations, grant writing, business strategy, stakeholder management, and growth planning.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Identify and research relevant investors, venture capital firms, angel investors, incubators, accelerators, and grant opportunities.
Build, maintain, and update investor databases and outreach pipelines.
Assist in investor communication, outreach campaigns, and follow-up activities.
Coordinate meetings, presentations, and discussions with potential investors and stakeholders.
Support the creation and refinement of pitch decks, investment memorandums, and fundraising materials.
Conduct competitor analysis, market validation research, and industry benchmarking to strengthen fundraising narratives.
Assist in collecting financial, operational, and business data required for investor discussions.
Research grant opportunities, CSR funding programs, foundations, and development-sector funding initiatives.
Support the preparation of grant applications, concept notes, proposals, donor reports, and funding documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather impact data, beneficiary stories, field photographs, and supporting materials.
Maintain grant application trackers, reporting schedules, compliance records, and submission deadlines.

Identify potential strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
Explore corporate, government, institutional, and ecosystem partnerships aligned with organizational goals.
Support outreach and relationship-building efforts with potential partners and stakeholders.
Create professional presentations, business proposals, reports, and communication materials.
Present research findings, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Support leadership teams in preparing for investor meetings, events, fundraising discussions, and pitch sessions.

Requirements:
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Rural Development, Agriculture, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with proficiency in English and Hindi/Marathi preferred.
Good writing, documentation, and presentation skills using PowerPoint, Canva, or Google Slides.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Ability to analyze funding opportunities, grants, and investment landscapes.
Strong proposal writing skills and the ability to convert data and impact metrics into compelling narratives.
Familiarity with startup ecosystems, fundraising, venture capital, CSR initiatives, grants, or the social impact sector will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
