The role leads the Front Desk team, drives service excellence, manages revenue opportunities, and ensures compliance with hotel policies and brand standards.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
- Deliver exceptional guest service and create memorable arrival and departure experiences.
- Handle VIP, long-stay, repeat, and high-profile guest requirements.
- Resolve guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery situations promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guest preferences are recognized and personalized whenever possible.
- Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and online reputation.Operations Management
- Oversee daily Front Desk operations including check-in, check-out, cashiering, room allocations, and guest requests.
- Ensure accuracy in room status coordination with Housekeeping.
- Monitor room inventory, occupancy, and availability to maximize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with Reservations, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage departments.
- Ensure smooth shift handovers and operational continuity.Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the Front Desk team.
- Conduct daily briefings and shift meetings.
- Prepare duty rosters, leave schedules, and manpower planning.
- Monitor grooming, discipline, attendance, and adherence to hotel standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
- Foster a positive, guest-centric working culture.Revenue & Financial Responsibilities
- Maximize room revenue through effective room allocation and upselling opportunities.
- Monitor cash handling, float management, and cashier reconciliations.
- Ensure billing accuracy and minimize financial discrepancies.
- Support revenue management initiatives and occupancy optimization.Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, statutory requirements, and internal audit standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, fire, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor compliance with brand standards and quality assurance programs.Administrative Responsibilities
