Role DescriptionYou are the first AI Engineer at OpenChat, working directly with the CTO. Our team came from Blur (the largest NFT marketplace on Ethereum, valued at $1B) and Thirdweb (the No. 1 Agent infrastructure in crypto, backed by Coinbase and Haun Ventures). We had successful exits from $1B to $100B: token launches, acquisitions and IPO. We would love to have one talented AI Engineer joining our small team, to make OpenChat the place for every AI agent! QualificationsProficiency in modern AI/ML tooling (LLM APIs, agent frameworks, RAG, evals) with a focus on shipping production-grade, user-facing AI featuresStrong software engineering fundamentals across the stack, with the ability to move quickly from prototype to productionExcellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skillsEnjoy working in an early, exciting and fast-moving startup environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with model fine-tuning, inference optimization, or building agentic systems is a plus
