FinTech & Capital Markets Associate Professor / Assistant Professor DBS Global University invites applications for the position of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor from dynamic academicians and industry professionals with expertise in Finance, FinTech, Capital Markets. The incumbent will be responsible for teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic administration while contributing to the University's mission of academic excellence and industry relevance. Specializations:
- FinTech & Capital Markets (Finance & Stock Markets, Algorithmic Trading (Algo Trading), Quantitative Finance, Alternative Investments & Asset Management).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in the relevant specialization.
- Develop and update course content in line with industry trends and academic standards.
- Employ innovative pedagogical methods, case studies, simulations, and experiential learning approaches.
- Design assessments, examinations, projects, and practical assignments.
- Mentor and guide students for academic and career development.
- Publish research papers in reputed Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, and UGC-CARE indexed journals.
- Secure research grants, consultancy projects, and funded research opportunities.
- Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and industry interactions.
- Facilitate internships, live projects, and placement-related activities.
- Participate in curriculum design and accreditation activities.
- Assist in NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and other quality assurance initiatives.
- Support student clubs, academic events, competitions, and institutional committees.
Preferred Expertise: Financial Technology (FinTech) Digital Payments and Banking Innovation Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Ecosystems Artificial Intelligence in Financial Services WealthTech, InsurTech, and RegTech Financial Analytics and Data Science Cybersecurity in Financial Services Future Trends in Financial Markets Eligibility Criteria: Assistant Professor
- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline.
- NET/SET qualified or Ph.D. as per UGC norms.
- Strong teaching aptitude and research potential.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
