This role provides financial leadership to regional sales teams by partnering with sales leadership to drive revenue growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, and strategic planning. Key responsibilities include leading business reviews, managing expenses and resources, supporting operating plans and sales force alignment, analyzing performance metrics and cash flow, and supporting key account strategies.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Provide financial leadership and direction to area sales management teams; partner with sales leadership to develop and implement revenue growth plans.
- Lead and prepare monthly business reviews of regional results, including P&L analysis, expense policy monitoring, margin improvement strategies, and actionable guidance for sales management.

- Manage regional financial performance, including resource allocation, expense management, cost center oversight, and execution of strategies to improve profitability.
- Lead and coordinate the development of area- and district-level strategic plans, including account-level product launch strategies.
- Lead the area annual operating plan process, including rosters, alignments, quotas, and expense budgets.
- Provide financial leadership to the AVP, Regional Sales Directors, District Managers, and Sales Representatives in developing robust and accurate revenue and expense forecasts.
- Evaluate area and district opportunity pipelines, implant and usage trends, and other key metrics to identify opportunities to optimize results.
- Ensure appropriate accounting controls, expense and revenue processes, and pricing policies are maintained and operating effectively.
- Partner with sales business partners to analyze asset management performance, DSO, and free cash flow, and develop strategies to drive improvement.
- Collaborate with the AVP and HR on sales force alignment, performance, and compensation strategies.
- Collaborate with CST Sales Finance team members to establish consistent operating mechanisms for AVP and business unit communications across CST.
- Collaborate with the Sales Systems team to optimize tools, systems, and reporting.
- Partner with Directors of Strategic Sales to build long-term strategic alliances with key account stakeholders within the region.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Perform all activities in compliance with the local Quality System.
- Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health, and safety site rules, policies, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering
- MBA is a plus
- Sales Finance experience
- Previous experience partnering with sales leadership
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver tough messages aimed at enabling the sales management team and CST to succeed
- Sound analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret data for decision making
- Solid business acumen
