Job Description: Business Finance AnalystLocation: BangaloreCompany: VedantuFunction: Business FinanceExperience: 2–5 years (flexible based on fit)Role OverviewThe Business Finance Analyst will partner closely with business, growth, and sales teams to drive financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. The role focuses on P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking to support Vedantu’s growth objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage business/category P&L, including revenue, cost, and margin analysisPrepare monthly MIS, dashboards, and variance analysis vs budget/forecastSupport annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and re-forecasting exercisesWork closely with Sales, Growth, and Strategy teams to evaluate business performanceAnalyze unit economics, CAC, LTV, contribution margins, and ROI for campaignsTrack and control marketing, sales, and operational spendsIdentify cost-optimization and revenue-enhancement opportunitiesAssist leadership with financial insights, presentations, and decision supportEnsure data accuracy and alignment with accounting and finance controlsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of financial modeling, FP&A, and P&L managementHands-on experience with Excel / Google Sheets (advanced level)Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong business acumen and stakeholder management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesQualificationsCA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (Level 1 or above) / Commerce graduate with relevant experience2–5 years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A / AnalyticsPrior experience in Ed-tech, Consumer Internet, SaaS, or Startup environments preferred
