As our festival sponsorships sales intern, you'll own the end-to-end sponsorship pipeline for the Third Annual Afro-Diasporic Ocean Festival (August 15, 2026). Working directly with Festival Producer Tanya Alfonso and LiberArte team members.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Conduct outbound outreach to NYC local businesses.
Pitch our four-tier sponsorship deck.
Handle objections, close deals, and hand off signed sponsors to our fulfillment team.
This is a real sales role with real commission on a mission-driven campaign that directly funds free community programming rooted in Afro-diasporic and Indigenous culture
Compensation:
$500/month base + 15% commission (uncapped) on all closed sponsorships. Bonuses: $500 per Ocean Steward ($5K) deal closed.
