Job Requirements
- Execute complex tasks within high performing FEA team.
- Do hand calculations leveraging a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals.
- Performing steady state and transient thermal, structural and thermo-mechanical analysis.
- Do analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions.
- Understand and define contacts, conducting nonlinear analysis, vibration analysis, buckling analysis, etc.
- Thorough understanding of high-cycle fatigue (HCF), low-cycle fatigue (LCF), creep, and fracture mechanics.
- Drive technical solutions and engage in reviews with both internal and external customers.
- Writing of analysis reports and certification reports.
- Ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries for complex development projects.
- Have a solutioning mindset and approach to work.
Work Experience
- Experience in performing static/dynamic, transient, linear and non-linear thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis of gas turbine static & especially blades and Vanes using commercial software such as Ansys (Classic/Workbench), Abaqus and APDL. Good in meshing with Ansys Classic & WB.
- Good understanding of ANSYS Element library.
