About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

A. Product development & sampling:

1. Assist in developing detailed tech packs for handbags and accessories.

1. Prepare product specification sheets including dimensions, materials, hardware, construction details, colorways, labeling, and packaging requirements.

1. Create and update technical drawings, mock-ups, and product presentations.

1. Ensure all product information is accurately documented for supplier communication.

B. Vendor coordination:

1. Communicate with suppliers regarding product specifications, materials, pricing, and timelines.

1. Follow up with vendors on sample status and production updates.

1. Maintain vendor databases and contact information.

C. Costing & data management:

1. Maintain product information, specifications, and BOM (Bill of materials) records.

1. Update merchandising trackers and reports.

D. Market & trend research:

1. Conduct research on handbag trends, materials, trims, colors, and competitor products.

1. Monitor retail and e-commerce trends in the fashion accessories industry.

1. Prepare trend reports and presentations.

E. Production & quality support:

1. Support the team in monitoring production schedules.
