Department - ExtrusionDesignation - Extrusion Shift SupervisorJob SummaryThe Extrusion Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily production activities, manpowerplanning, quality control, wastage monitoring, machine utilization, coordination with stores andmaintenance departments, and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently.Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute daily production planning effectively.
• Manage manpower allocation as per production requirements.
• Monitor and control daily wastage and share reports with accounts department.
• Maintain production order (PO) files for future reference.
• Maintain raw material and paper core consumption reports.
• Conduct emergency quality testing when required.
• Execute machine-wise production planning.
• Ensure all required materials are available and used correctly.
• Monitor machine setup time and ensure setup is within target limits.
• Benchmark machine speed for new setup jobs.
• Ensure machines run at desired efficiency and speed.
• Ensure full order quantities are produced on time.
• Monitor and minimize setup waste and machine waste.
• Coordinate production planning with stores for RM shifting.
• Arrange issue of PVC cores, paper cores, and consumables.
• Plan preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdown handling.
• Ensure department cleanliness and machine upkeep.Required Skills
• Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
• Knowledge of extrusion processes and production planning.
• Understanding of quality standards and wastage control.
• Good coordination and problem-solving ability.Education & ExperienceDiploma/Graduate preferred. Experience in extrusion or plastic manufacturing supervision required.
