Role Overview
This role will be responsible for building and managing Saregamas early-stage comedy talent pipeline, with a focus on identifying high-potential comedians and enabling their journey from discovery to monetisation across digital and live formats .Key Responsibilities Source and evaluate emerging comedic talent through open mics, comedy circuits, and creator ecosystems Build and maintain a structured pipeline of early-stage artists across key markets Track talent performance and identify individuals with potential for scale across digital and live formats Collaborate with content teams to support development of digital IPs and formats featuring new talent Work closely with the live events team to identify and groom talent for opening acts, club shows, and ticketed performances Build relationships within the comedy ecosystem including organisers, venues, and artist communities Maintain talent databases, performance trackers, and provide regular insights on emerging trends and opportunities Key Requirements Strong understanding of the stand-up comedy ecosystem and creator landscape Ability to identify audience connect, originality, and scalability in talent Success Metrics Quality and consistency of talent pipeline Conversion of discovered talent into digital content and live performances Contribution of new talent to viewership, engagement, and ticket sales Note: This is a 6-month contractual position (renewable)
