Event Program Manager , AWS Global Events

The Event Program Manager will execute end-to-end operations and delivery of specific event workstreams or programs within AWS's event portfolio. This role requires strong program management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality delivery. You will be responsible for implementing event strategies across various disciplines (e.g., content, operations, platforms, live event production, online events and specialized audience programs) and playing a key role in onsite execution.

Key job responsibilities Program Management & Execution

• Support the end-to-end delivery of assigned event workstreams or programs (examples: content operations, platform management, expo areas, audience-specific programs, online events)
• Manage day-to-day program activities, including timeline development and stakeholder coordination
• Create and maintain project documentation and status reporting
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for successful delivery
• Own specific onsite responsibilities during live events

Event Planning & Delivery

• Implement standardized processes from the Global Event Centre of Excellence
• Coordinate event logistics within assigned workstream
• Ensure consistent delivery quality across program elements
• Support budget tracking and reconciliation
• Manage onsite teams and vendors during event execution
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during live events

Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as primary liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
• Manage regular communications and status updates
• Coordinate with regional teams to ensure local relevance while maintaining global standards
• Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback
• Support stakeholder needs during onsite execution
