Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities
Responsible for installation, qualification, and maintenance of analytical and failure analysis (FA) equipment supporting Semiconductor Fab operations.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure high equipment uptime and reliability.
Work closely with process, R&D, and quality teams to resolve tool-related issues impacting yield and performance.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers/vendors for maintenance, upgrades, and spare parts management.
Monitor tool performance, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement (CIT) initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency.
Maintain documentation, logs, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Train technicians and engineers on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment and maintenance practices
Knowledge of vacuum systems, automation, or PLC systems is an added advantage
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes is preferred
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and meet timelines.
Desired Experience Level
2–5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry or analytical lab environment
Hands-on experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Experience working with analytical/FA tools is a plus
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle equipment-related challenges
