This Position reports to:
Health and Safety Manager
The holder of this position is interested in developing their knowledge and skills in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), has strong collaboration abilities, and enjoys keeping things organized. They are motivated to work with others and to make the work environment safer for everyone through their problem‑solving abilities and creativity.
The successful candidate will spend a significant portion of their time in various production areas and administrative zones to ensure internal clients are supported in developing best safety practices. As a result, the incumbent must be motivated, independent, organized, and structured.
Working within the Environment, Health, and Safety department, they will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure department. They will receive appropriate guidance and coaching based on their level of expertise.
This role reports directly to the EHS Manager for the Québec site.
Your Responsibilities
- Acts as support in EHS matters EHS support activities
- Supports departments in implementing the EHS program and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement continuous improvement opportunities
- Conducts regular facility inspections to identify hazards and risks in order to prevent injuries, spills, or other EHS impacts facility hazard inspections
- Participates in the task safety analysis process task safety analysis
- Compiles and reports health and safety data for corporate reporting health and safety data reporting
