Job Description Summary
Power Electronics Engineer is primarily responsible for the design and development of electronic hardware for High Frequency High Voltage Generators used in X-ray generation applications, with a constant focus on quality, reliability, cost, productivity, and continuous improvement.
This position is part of the Electrical/Power Electronics Design & Development Engineering team within X-Ray Generation Engineering at GE HealthCare. The selected candidate will report to the XGEN Electrical Engineering Manager at GEBEL, Bengaluru.

Essential Responsibilities
- Design and develop High Frequency High Voltage Generators used in X-ray generation applications.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to develop electrical designs for X-ray Generators and Power Distribution Units.
- Understand product requirements and perform analysis, calculations, simulations, and design evaluations for power electronics solutions.
- Independently develop and deliver electrical designs, while leading design enhancements, engineering changes, and value engineering initiatives for X-ray generators.
- Own assigned projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver program milestones while complying with the GE HealthCare Quality Management System.
- Support system integration, verification, testing, validation, and design transfer activities for new products and engineering changes.
- Contribute to Advanced Technology Development, New Product Introduction (NPI), Design Transfer, Design Improvements, Value Engineering, and Reliability projects.
- Execute assignments aligned with business priorities while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications
- ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics.
