Job Description This role is to work as part of an engineering consultancy design team, taking a Engineer role in project design work, focused on production and liaison with the WSP Building Services Team and mentoring and coaching junior members of the team. Responsibilities Team in association with the Local CRC Head of MEP any variance between the works constructed and the design intentLead the design process and encourage the rest of the team to deliver appropriate and cost effective solutions to the agreed programme.Participate in team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and communicate with other teams in WSPIdentify and flag additional fees to the Local CRC Head of MEPComplete timesheet accurately ahead of weekly deadlines Qualifications Preparation of IFC Drawings, Schedules, Datasheets schematics and P&IDShould possess membership to an accredited engineering body i.e. MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAEExcellent working knowledge of ISHRAE, ASHRAE and good working knowledge of ME codes would be advantageous.Prepare heat load calculationsCarryout preparation of Technical submittals of various materials, equipment's etc.,Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, MEP & other drafting soft waresCarry out detailed design, calculations & drawings.Carry out regular design reviewsUnderstand the specifications and tender conditions accordingly design.Receive, analyze and evaluate quotations suiting our requirements.knowledge about other services like electrical, PHE etc. to carryout design co-ordinationGood presentation skills are also requiredMust be fully conversant with technical software, such as Hevacomp,Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision.
