Job Description Summary
Flight Physics Capabilities team deliver optimized overall vehicle solutions, by driving and developing world class capabilities at the core of Airbus vehicle architecture and integration.
This specific JR pertains to designing, developing, and validating Aerodynamics methods and tools, specifically in the field of aerodata for design and to ensure multidisciplinary integration with their interfaces.
Qualification: Minimum of Masters (or equivalent) in Aerospace / Mechanical
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Analyze the business context, design and document the solution, present that solution to stakeholders and support the project team with its implementation.
- Ensure adherence to software quality standards
- Conduct feasibility studies in complex, heterogeneous project environments
- V&V of the tools & features developed
- Work closely in a cross functional team, collaborate and foster team spirit
Your boarding pass:
- Analytical, creative, and open to learn new technologies
- Experience with tool development, automation of workflows
- Previous experience with Python
- Experience in Behavioural Modelling & Simulation, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Numerical Methods
- Familiarity with requirements specifications or Systems Engineering
- Experience with Geometric modelling, Analytical Geometry, Linear Algebra
- Ability to learn fast, comfortable working in full autonomy
- Fluent in English
