This position is responsible for providing support on projects by learning Goodyear systems and processes in cooperation with more experienced personnel. The incumbent seeks solutions to technical problems, conducts work on assigned tasks, and exhibits an entry-type level of knowledge.
Implement products, processes, and methods that meet internal and external customer requirements. Support evaluation of products, processes, and methods and obtain results. Contribute to the manufacture of quality products and processes.
Communicate and solve problems by interpreting and analyzing data.
Translate product needs to experimental data or design parameters.
Work with teams and product groups to bring technology to market
Obtain required training and skill development for position-specific skills and personal development.
Experience
Experience in tire industry (product development, industrialization, or technical customer support)
Exposure to OEM technical coordination
Involvement in product and process implementation in manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with product validation and testing (indoor/outdoor tire testing)
Experience in quality and compliance processes:
DVP (Design Validation Plan)
PV (Product Validation)

Experience working with engineering teams and cross-functional groups to launch products

Entry-level to early-career experience working with structured engineering processes
