Job Title: EEG SpecialistLocation: Ulsoor, BangaloreEmployment Type: Full-time MS clinical research seeks a skilled and detail-oriented EEG specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting high quality electroencephalograms (EEGs). The role requires technical expertise, and a commitment to deliver accurate and timely results. Must have:1. Knowledge of PsychoPy, MATLAB and R Studio; Experimental Design Formation2. Cap/Net Placement (64/32/128 electrodes) Key Responsibilities:Application of EEG Net: Prepare Subjects for EEG studies, including proper electrode application using the international 10-20 system. Building PsychoPy experiments and further analyzing EEG for results. Data collection using the EEG NET : Do proper impedance check to ensure good quality data is being collected Equipment Handling:Operate, calibrate, and maintain EEG equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment or recordings.Signal Acquisition using the appropriate system, prior experience with NetStation Software would be desirable.Knowledge of PsychoPy and calibrating the experiment with the acquisition software. Documentation and Reporting:Accurately document subject information, procedures performed, and findings. Collaborate with neurologists and other medical professionals to analyze and interpret results. Compliance and Safety:Follow established protocols and guidelines for subject safety, infection control, and data security. Qualifications:Education: Mastersin Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in performing/ assisting in EEG experiments/studies in a research/clinical setting Experience in the Application of the Net would be required
