Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Educational Counselor role based at the IMS center in Faridabad.
- The Educational Counselor will interact with prospective and current students and their families to understand their academic goals, clarify course offerings, and recommend suitable programs and test-preparation paths.
- Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, providing career and course guidance, supporting admissions and enrollment processes, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions.
- The Educational Counselor will collaborate closely with center leadership, faculty, and marketing teams to ensure an excellent learner experience and help students stay on track with their preparation plans.
Qualifications
- Educational Consulting and Career Counseling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Student Counseling experience
- Strong knowledge of education and entrance exams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the education industry is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other education-related software
- Knowledge of various entrance exams like CAT, CLAT, IPMAT, CUET, and international study abroad tests like GMAT, GRE, and SAT is a plus
