Early Lifecycle Manager, INRME

IN RME team is hiring an Early Lifecycle Manager (ELM) to drive engineering quality integration during the launch and ramp-up of new fulfillment facilities across Amazon's first, middle, last mile, and Quick Commerce network. This role owns on ground execution of commissioning, qualification, and turnover processes for Material handling equipment (MHE) and Base building equipment from vendor commissioning through Acceptance Test Protocol, Amazon Qualification (IQ/OQ/TQ), and Final Acceptance post Go-Live, ensuring every system meets contractual performance, safety, and reliability standards before turnover to operations.
Key job responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end project lifecycle for new site launches- requirements gathering, planning, resource allocation, scheduling, risk mitigation, and deployment tracking
- Drive on ground commissioning and qualification execution: vendor validation (mechanical, electrical, controls, SCADA), High Volume throughput testing, and Final Acceptance sign-off.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of ELM learning and launch site RME on-boarding programs in partnership with stakeholders (L&D, OEM, Global Engineering Services (GES) and Projects team) adjusting content based on field feedback and evolving business needs.
- Plan and coordinate OEM equipment training programs in partnership with L&D and Global Engineering Services (GES) team to build site-level capability before and during ramp-up.
- Capture lessons learned from each launch cycle and feed findings into process improvements for future site launches.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, SMEs, and Global Engineering Services (GES) team during RFP and RFQ stages to align equipment specifications with maintainability and reliability requirements.
- Partner with Central RME ELM team, field RME team, Asset Performance Management (APM) team, Engineering, Projects, and Operations to define project scope, milestones, and success criteria.
- Assess and communicate project status to leadership, escalate risks and delays early across stakeholder teams.
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time to launch sites
