Overview

The Data Center & Network Services organization is looking for a Director of Network Operations to lead a global operations in APAC Region for Level 2 focused on ensuring the stable operation of Mastercard’s Network infrastructure globally. This role requires strong people leadership skill, experience leading network operations organizations, network systems health check validations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance to support the organization's mission-critical operations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy: Lead and manage the Global Network Operations team, including network engineers, analysts, and support staff. Develop strategic plans for network operations, monitoring, and incident management. Collaborate with senior IT leadership to align network operations with organizational goals. Shaping the direction and growth of the network operations function
• Operational Oversight: Direct daily operations of Critical Network, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and support. Oversee troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution of major network incidents. Ensure timely escalation and communication of critical issues to stakeholders. Ensuring high network performance, reliability and uptime. To be measured on KPI’s
• Team Management Leading developing and mentoring teams of networks and managers.
• Network Performance & Reliability: Monitor network performance metrics and implement improvements to ensure uptime and efficiency. Coordinate with infrastructure teams to optimize network design and scalability. Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network operations.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement and maintain network security protocols and incident response procedures.
• Stakeholder Engagement representing the network function in executive meetings and collaborating with other departments
