Job Title: DI (Digital) Conformist Location: Chennai, India.Summary: Nube Studio, a leading post production company is looking for an experienced Digital Conformist with hands on experience using Baselight & Davinci Resolve. The ideal person will have a proven track record in commercials, TV/film and be comfortable taking on a range of tasks independently or as part of a team. We would like to meet a self-motivated & talented individual to help us push creative and technical boundaries to deliver the finest quality to our clients. The Digital Conformist assists the Digital Intermediate process through every step, from conforming camera original media to the final edit, preparing color timelines, rendering versions and mastering final picture. The position supports the Senior Colorist, Technical Supervisor and DI Producer in the needs of the projects at the facility.The Digital Conformist is responsible for ensuring that the final product is complete and ready for delivery. This includes conforming, online editing, creating optical, titling, and other detail-oriented tasks.Responsibilities:

• Conform timelines of camera original and graded footage using AAF/EDL/XML and/or eye matching, checked meticulously against offline reference for accuracy; perform time warps, split screens, motion effects, etc. as required.
• Work in client attended sessions to provide visually creative and timely solutions to directors, creatives, editors and other project owners.
• Communicate with producers to provide accurate assessments of workload and manage time effectively against this. (Assist in assessing in bidding the workload)
• Organize and manage versioning, QC and delivery of final assets.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on projects.
• An understanding and implementation of LUTs, CDLs, and ACES transforms used in color management; the ability to incorporate specific looks determined by directors and cinematographers.
• A thorough understanding of multi-pass CG compositing and techniques used to integrate elements into live action footage.
• A strong understanding of film/video production, offline editorial, color, visual effects, and animation workflows, to be able to Conform visual effects, 2D animation, and finishing of video content across multiple deliverable platforms.

Essential:

• 3+ Years of Experience
• Fluency in film/video standards for all media (broadcast TV, cinema, online, mobile, etc.) as well as video and graphics codecs and formats.
• Ability to receive feedback from various project owners and raise the creative bar while implementing this feedback into the work.
