As a Driver Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Linux/Chrome device drivers of Camera IP that power Intel's imaging solutions. Key Responsibilities - Understand Device Driver stack and related application features and translate them into comprehensive test procedures. - Run repeatable testing procedures on new device driver stack across diverse operating systems. - Record and track issues using reporting systems, ensuring clear and meaningful descriptions for reproducibility by developers. - Collaborate closely with the development team to design new tests and methods to enhance driver quality. - Independently solve problems and troubleshoot failures during validationQualifications:Minimum Qualifications - Diploma, BSc, BCA, BTech and MTech degree in Computer Science or a related area. - Experience with installing, configuring, and running device drivers and related applications on various operating systems. - Proficiency in developing device driver testcases that support Operating systems like Linux and Chrome - Familiarity with basic scripting languages such as Python or shell scripting. - Strong technical understanding of software testing practices and processes.
