Job SummaryInfrawala is looking for a dynamic and design-oriented sales professional who combines architectural or interior design expertise with strong sales and client management abilities. The role will be responsible for managing the complete sales lifecycle from lead qualification and client consultations to proposal development, commercial negotiations, and final project closure for commercial interior and fit-out projects.The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling clients independently, understanding spatial and functional requirements, developing design-led commercial proposals, and coordinating closely with design and execution teams to deliver successful projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Qualification & Sales Funnel Management Handle inbound leads from marketing campaigns, referrals, brokers, and business networks. Conduct initial discussions with clients to understand project scope, requirements, budgets, and timelines. Qualify opportunities and maintain a structured sales pipeline. Track opportunity stages and ensure timely follow-ups for lead conversion.Client Engagement & Consultative Selling Conduct client meetings, discovery calls, and requirement gathering sessions. Understand client needs related to office interiors, retail fit-outs, and commercial spaces. Translate client business requirements into practical and design-oriented solutions. Build strong relationships with corporate clients, business owners, retail brands, brokers, and developers.Proposal Development & Design Coordination Prepare design proposals, concept presentations, and preliminary layouts. Develop BOQs, project estimates, costing sheets, and commercial proposals. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and technical teams for detailed drawings and execution inputs. Ensure all design and costing deliverables align with client expectations and project requirements.Sales Conversion & Deal Closure Present design concepts and commercial proposals to clients. Conduct proposal walkthroughs and handle client objections effectively. Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and project closures. Ensure completion of project onboarding documentation and contract signing processes.Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with design, procurement, execution, marketing, and business development teams. Ensure smooth coordination between sales commitments, design planning, and execution timelines. Support seamless transition from project acquisition to execution handover.Client Relationship Management Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction throughout the sales and onboarding process. Expand and manage broker and partner networks for business generation.Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field. MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development preferred. 35 years of experience in interior design, architecture, business development, or design-led sales. Prior experience in commercial interiors, office fit-outs, or construction projects preferred.Required SkillsDesign & Technical Skills Space planning and functional layout understanding. Interior concept development and material knowledge. BOQ preparation and project estimation. Understanding of commercial interior execution processes.Sales & Business Development Skills Strong client relationship management abilities. Negotiation and deal-closing expertise. Proposal presentation and consultative selling skills. Pipeline management and lead conversion capabilities.Software Skills AutoCAD. SketchUp or other 3D visualization tools (preferred). Microsoft Excel for BOQs and costing. PowerPoint for client presentations.Preferred Candidate Profile Architect or interior designer with strong sales orientation. MBA candidate with relevant domain experience in interiors or construction sales. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of revenue targets and client relationships. Ability to independently manage clients and commercial discussions.What Success Looks Like in This Role Consistent conversion of qualified leads into projects.
