Working on international assignments involving cross-border and cross-service line teams allows you to build your networks across the vast Global Deloitte network and develop understanding of the global PMI standards.
The team is now developing its current capability across within the ICC in Mumbai which majorly caters to the UK, Europe, Middle East, APAC and Canada Deloitte firms.

As a Deputy Manager in our Deal Transformation – Post Merger Integration (DT – PMI) team you’ll build positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our DT-PMI. This role combines strategic and operational expertise across post-deal integration/separation initiatives. The ideal candidate will support driving strategic alignment post-transaction to support on Day 1 planning and post-deal implementation programme delivery. You will support transactions across all industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Integration & Separation Planning:
Support development of comprehensive integration or separation strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
Identify key milestones, interdependencies, and execution risks.
Coordinate cross-functional execution with minimal disruption to operations.
b. Target operating model & blueprinting:
Define the strategic vision, target operating model, and organizational structure post-deal.
Establish governance and reporting frameworks.

Support coordination across functional workstreams (Finance, HR, IT, Operations, etc.).
Manage interdependencies across workstreams and ensure alignment to program objectives.
Monitor execution progress and resolve bottlenecks for timely delivery.
d. PMO Oversight:
Lead/support the central PMO to manage project plans, resources, and budgets.
Report on progress, risks, and value realization to senior stakeholders.
Enable PMO support through effective management of PMO tools and implementation of AI-driven solutions to accelerate delivery, enhance insights and improve decision-making.
Key skills required:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong project management skills with experience in developing and executing tools.
Proven track record of supporting Integration & Separation projects, preferably in a complex corporate environment preferred.

Strong analytical and business diagnostic skills
Experience of working in a deal environment with senior management
Capable of analysis of business models and development of target operating models
Proficiency with MS office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
A flexible approach to business demands and experience of working to short time horizons.
Excellent track record and strong academic achievements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of developing tools and AI solutions would be an asset
Advance knowledge of Excel
Interest in working in a challenging and dynamic environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proactive and an inquisitive mind, with a passion to provide world class client service
