The job description for MS Fabric Data Engineering Lead includes the following qualifications and responsibilities:
- Experience: hands-on Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering Lead to oversee the development and delivery of modern data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Will lead a team of engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures that enable business intelligence and advanced analytics. Proficient in SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and specializing in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and PySpark. Adept at designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern cloud architectures.
- Communication skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients' architects, other technical decision makers, and offshore technical teams
- Professional qualifications: A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering
Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of data architecture using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI.

Develop and govern data pipelines, lakehouse architecture, and semantic models.

Define best practices for data integration, transformation, and orchestration using Fabric and related Azure services.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

Mentor data engineering teams and establish architectural standards and guidelines.

Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the data lifecycle.

Stay updated with new Fabric features and capabilities and assess their relevance to ongoing projects.
