Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cyber Security Instructor role based in Vishakhapatnam. The Cyber Security Instructor will design and deliver engaging training sessions on core topics such as application security, network security, information security, and malware analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and labs, teaching in classroom and lab environments, assessing learners progress through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback and mentoring. The instructor will also update course content to reflect emerging threats, tools, and best practices, and may participate in curriculum development, workshops, and certification preparation sessions. Collaboration with academic and administrative teams to improve training quality and learner outcomes is expected.We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Cybersecurity Trainer to train and mentor students/professionals in cybersecurity concepts and tools. The candidate should have hands-on experience in cybersecurity domains and strong communication skills to deliver engaging training sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and teaching ability in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including fundamental principles, threat landscapes, and security frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in Network Security and Application Security, with experience explaining and demonstrating secure design, hardening, and defensive controls.
- Practical experience in Malware Analysis, including basic reverse engineering concepts, detection techniques, and incident response workflows.
- Proven ability to design clear instructional materials, labs, and assessments, and to explain complex technical concepts to learners with varied backgrounds.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, OSCP, or similar) and a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field are preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive teaching approach.
- Ability to stay current with emerging security technologies, tools, and threats, and incorporate them into the curriculum.
