We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with 5+ years focused on server and cloud security to harden infrastructure, perform security testing, and manage secure configurations across on prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain security controls for servers, VMs, containers, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

1. Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and configuration reviews on server and cloud assets.

1. Harden OS, middleware, container runtimes, orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).

1. Implement and manage identity and access controls (IAM, RBAC), secrets management, and privileged access solutions.

1. Develop, maintain, and enforce secure configuration baselines, CIS benchmarks, and automated compliance checks.

1. Build and operate detection and monitoring for cloud and server environments (logs, SIEM, EDR, cloud-native monitoring).

1. Respond to incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and remediate security issues in infrastructure.

1. Automate security tasks via scripts, CI/CD security gates, and IaC scanning.

1. Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and application teams to integrate security into deployment pipelines.

1. Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks, and security reports.

Also required:

1. Certifications: CISSP, CISM, OSCP, AWS/Azure/GCP security certs (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty).

1. Experience with SRE/DevOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
