Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native backend systems. The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on capability, and team management skills to drive high-quality engineering outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Architecture & Technical Leadership

Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using Java & Spring Boot Define system architecture for high-availability, fault-tolerant distributed systems Ensure best practices in API design, system integration, and service communication Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical governance Drive adoption of event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and asynchronous processing

1. Backend Engineering (Java + Spring Boot)

Lead backend development using:

Java (Core Java, J2EE) Spring Boot, Spring Cloud RESTful APIs & Microservices

Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, and security Support hands-on development for critical modules when required Drive unit testing, automation, and performance optimization

1. Team Leadership & People Management

Manage, mentor, and grow a team of developers, QA, and DevOps engineers Conduct performance reviews, career planning, and skill development Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and engineering excellence Hire, onboard, and retain top engineering talent
