SAP CoE Strategy & Operating Model
Define the vision, mission, and objectives of the SAP CoE.
Develop the SAP CoE operating model aligned to business and IT strategy.
Establish governance frameworks, decision-making structures, and steering committees.
Design SAP demand management, prioritization, and portfolio governance processes.
Create SAP CoE maturity and transformation roadmap.
SAP Governance & Delivery Excellence
Establish SAP standards, policies, and best practices.
Define release management, change management, and quality assurance frameworks.
Create SAP solution architecture and design governance processes.
Implement SAP project delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, SAP Activate).
Drive compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

Define SAP support model (L1, L2, L3 support structure).
Establish SLA, KPI, and service performance management framework.
Implement ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, and service request management processes.
Optimize SAP application maintenance and enhancement processes.
SAP Transformation & Innovation
Advise on SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Analytics, SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAC, and other SAP solutions.
Identify opportunities for automation, AI, process mining, and continuous improvement.
Drive SAP innovation governance and business value realization.
Organization & Capability Building
Define SAP CoE organizational structure and roles.
Develop resource strategy including internal teams, system integrators, and managed service providers.
Establish competency frameworks, training plans, and knowledge management practices.
Create RACI models and stakeholder engagement plans.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with SAP, implementation partners, and AMS providers.
Collaborate with executive leadership, business process owners, and IT teams.
Facilitate Steering Committee and executive governance meetings.
Performance & Value Management
Define CoE success metrics and KPIs.
Develop dashboards for service performance and value realization.
Measure SAP investment outcomes and business benefits.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
12+ years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years leading SAP governance, transformation, or CoE initiatives.
Proven experience establishing or transforming SAP Centers of Excellence.
Strong understanding of SAP ecosystem including:
- SAP BTP
SAP Fiori
SAP Analytics Cloud
SAP SuccessFactors
SAP Ariba
SAP Integration Suite
Experience working with global SAP delivery and support organizations.
Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, DevOps, and SAP Activate methodologies.
