Lead end-to-end delivery of Optimizely CMS-based digital experience solutions, providing architectural direction, delivery leadership, and hands-on technical expertise. The role involves ~60% architecture & delivery leadership and ~40% hands-on engineering, ensuring scalable implementation, governance excellence, and enterprise-grade digital capabilities. You will work across multi-language, multi-market environments on Optimizely DXP, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver modern, performant, and optimized web experiences.
Solution Leadership & Architecture (Primary – 60%)
- Lead architecture, design, and technical direction for Optimizely CMS solutions in enterprise environments.
- Define scalable content architecture including content types, blocks, components, templates, workflows, and governance models.
- Own solution design covering CMS, personalization, search, integrations, multilingual/multimarket frameworks, and editorial governance models.
- Design and oversee Optimizely DXP implementations including environment topology, deployment slots, blue-green/canary strategies, CDN/edge configurations, and performance optimization.
- Conduct technical workshops, architectural reviews, solution walkthroughs, and author enablement sessions.
Hands‑On Engineering (40%)
- Implement CMS features, content models, components, templates, routing, workflows, language management, and editorial features.
- Implement integrations with CRM/CDP, DAM, PIM, analytics, marketing automation, and external APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Build personalization rules, content recommendations, search experiences, and advanced content workflows.
- Ensure SEO, accessibility (WCAG), security, performance, and compliance best practices are followed.
Enterprise Authoring & Governance
- Design and maintain governance models including content approvals, workflows, roles/permissions, Projects, authoring guidelines, and content lifecycle.
- Support multilingual and multi‑site editorial processes for global content operations.
- Provide training, documentation, and enablement for content teams.
- Define authoring best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across markets.
Delivery & Client Interaction
- Serve as primary client-facing lead for technical discussions, workshops, demos, and solution reviews.
