Key responsibilities
- Customer Outreach: Contact individuals or businesses with overdue accounts via phone and email to establish communication and secure immediate payment.
- Negotiation & Settlement: Evaluate debtors' financial situations to negotiate realistic payment schedules, lump-sum settlements, or restructuring plans.
- Compliance & Ethics: Conduct all recovery activities in strict compliance with debt collection regulations, consumer privacy laws, and professional ethical standards.
- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain precise, up-to-date records of all payment promises, collection activities, and customer interactions in the recovery database.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed individual monthly recovery targets and recovery-rate percentages to minimize bad debt write-offs for the organization.
