We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Clinical Psychologist Intern to support emotional well-being initiatives for cancer patients and their caregivers. This is a meaningful opportunity to gain real-world exposure in counseling, empathetic communication, and caregiver support.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Conduct initial interactions with cancer patients and caregivers to deeply understand their emotional and psychological needs.
Perform basic mental health screenings to identify signs of distress, such as anxiety, grief, or depressive tendencies.
Assist in implementing practical coping strategies and emotional regulation techniques to help families manage the trauma of diagnosis and treatment.
Maintain a supportive communication loop through regular follow-ups and outreach calls, acting as a consistent point of contact for emotional relief.
Design and develop meaningful mental health resources, articles, and content to raise awareness about Psycho-Oncology.
Maintain methodical and ethical progress notes, ensuring all interactions are recorded with the highest level of confidentiality.
Participate in case discussions and team feedback sessions to refine our patient support framework.
