We are seeking a senior clinical professional to enable and accelerate clinical data acquisition for the Data & AI organization. This role operates within the defined data-chain RACI and focuses on removing bottlenecks across site onboarding, clinical alignment, and data acquisition workflows. The incumbent will act as a central orchestrator, ensuring alignment between clinical stakeholders, field teams, and internal Data & AI functions.
The role works in close partnership with field application specialists, clinical science teams, and partnerships teams to drive efficient and scalable data acquisition.
Your Role:
Role Scope & Operating Model
Direct Accountability
Orchestrate end-to-end data acquisition workflow readiness and execution
Identify, track, and resolve key bottlenecks in the data acquisition lifecycle
Ensure alignment between clinical requirements and data/AI needs
Drive workflow initiation and tracking in contracting tools (e.g., Orion)

Field Application Specialists – protocol execution, site operations
Clinical Science (BU & Field) – study design, validation
Clinical Partnerships Leader / Market teams – site relationships

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Data Acquisition Enablement
Enable identification and onboarding of clinical data sources in collaboration with field and clinical teams
Support site feasibility and readiness discussions
Accelerate data acquisition by removing process and coordination delays
Stakeholder Coordination & Clinical Interface
Act as a central coordination point across clinical, field, and data teams
Translate clinical needs into structured data requirements
- Support creation of datasets for:
AI/ML model development
Clinical validation
Regulatory submissions
Product performance analysis
Workflow & Process Orchestration
Initiate and track workflows in site contracting tools (e.g., Orion)
- Ensure readiness and alignment of:
Data collection criteria and case selection
Clinical documentation requirements
- Coordinate (not independently execute):
Protocol readiness (owned by Clinical Apps Specialists)
Data preparation activities (annotation, classification, etc.)
Data Lifecycle Execution
Enable and accelerate execution in collaboration with responsible owners:
Site feasibility and selection
Data Management Plan inputs
Ethics and consent processes (IRB/IEC)
Contracting and agreement discussions
Ensure alignment across clinical, regulatory, and data/AI requirements
Governance, Compliance & Data Quality
- Ensure adherence to:
Clinical protocols and study requirements
Ethics and consent frameworks
Privacy and regulatory standards
Provide clinical inputs (in partnership) for:
Data quality and usability
Imaging/data standards
Anonymization and metadata quality
Bottleneck Resolution & Operational Acceleration
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks across:
Site onboarding
Ethics and approval timelines
Data readiness and usability
Drive improvements aligned to the data-chain RACI

You Are a Great Fit If:
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Advanced degree in Radiology, Clinical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- 10–15 years in:
MR clinical domain / radiology workflows
Clinical research or hospital engagement
Data acquisition or clinical operations
Domain Expertise
MRI protocols and clinical workflows
Clinical research processes (IRB/IEC, consent, study protocols)
Hospital ecosystem and stakeholder engagement
Healthcare data ecosystems (DICOM, PACS, EMR/EHR, RIS)
Skills & Competencies
Strong stakeholder management across clinical and technical teams
Ability to translate clinical needs into data requirements
Strong execution and problem-solving capability
Cross-functional collaboration in global environments
Knowledge of clinical data governance and privacy frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI/ML data programs or clinical data platforms
Exposure to data lifecycle tools (e.g., Orion contracting workflows)
Knowledge of synthetic data or federated learning approaches
Success Metrics
Reduction in data acquisition cycle time
Improved workflow turnaround (e.g., Orion)
Reduction in identified bottlenecks across lifecycle stages
Improved data quality and usability
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office-based role.
