Title: Chartered AccountantBudget: 6 - 8 LPALocation: Kolkata Job DescriptionWe are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our Finance team at the Kolkata office. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, audits, compliance, and supporting strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations
- Handle internal and external audits
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and consultants
- Maintain accurate financial records and MIS reports
- Support management with financial analysis and business insights
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in D2C, FMCG, or startup ecosystem is a plus
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
