Designation - Chartered Accountant (Fresher)Job Location - Mira Road (Walkable from Station)Shift - Mon to Sat (10am to 6pm)Company Website - www.asmitagroup.com Latest Project - https://asmitaindiarealty.com/projects/asmita-grand-maison/ Reports to - CFO Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will assist in financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, auditing, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Support internal and statutory audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and general ledger balances.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and file statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities when required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Perform financial analysis and support management in decision-making.
Qualifications
- Freshly qualified candidates or candidates with up to 1-3 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial planning and MIS reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Quick learner with a proactive approach.
- Team player with excellent organizational skills.
