Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Create, modify, and prepare 2D and 3D characters for rigging and animation for game projects, including human, humanoid, animal, monster, mythical, fantasy, and horror-style characters.
Animate characters for gameplay and cinematic use, including idle, walk, run, attack, jump scare, reaction, death, crawling, creature movement, and basic horror/fantasy animation cycles.
Create clean and functional character rigs suitable for animation, game production, including body rigs, creature rigs, humanoid rigs, basic facial controls, IK/FK controls, bone hierarchy setup, and game-ready rig structures.
Prepare, optimize, and export rigged characters and animations for Unity or other game engines while maintaining proper scale, naming, file structure, and animation compatibility.
Work on both 2D and 3D character animation requirements depending on the project, including sprite-based animation, skeletal animation, and 3D rig-based animation.
Work with the game development team to integrate characters, animations, and movement cycles into playable scenes.
Create or refine textures, materials, proportions, silhouettes, and visual details to match the required art style and horror/fantasy mood.
Test character rigs and animations inside the game engine to ensure smooth movement, correct deformation, proper looping, and usable in-game performance.
Assist with basic character modelling or model cleanup where required, including fixing proportions, topology, mesh issues, texture issues, and model readiness for rigging.
Research references for human movement, animal movement, monster movement, creature behavior, horror animation, and fantasy character performance.
Take feedback from the project manager and revise rigs, animations, character movement, timing, posing, and export files based on project requirements.

Other requirements
Candidates with a portfolio, showreel, ArtStation, Behance, Sketchfab, Instagram art page, YouTube video, GitHub, or Google Drive samples showing character modelling, rigging, and animation work will be strongly preferred.
Candidates with experience in Blender/Maya, rigging, Unity character integration, humanoid rigs, creature rigs, IK/FK setup, animation cycles, game-ready low-poly characters, or horror/fantasy character design will be preferred.
Candidates should be comfortable working on both stylized and semi-realistic characters, including humans, humanoids, monsters, animals, creatures, mythical characters, fantasy characters, and horror-themed characters.
Candidates who can do basic character modelling or model cleanup, along with rigging and animation, will be preferred.
Candidates should be willing to complete a short practical assessment focused on character rigging and animation before final selection.
Candidates should be comfortable signing an internship agreement covering confidentiality, intellectual property ownership, client work, and company project protection.
