We're Hiring: Canadian Corporate Tax Accountant (T2) Financial Statements & Tax Preparation Company: REQ Solutions Pvt. Ltd.Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (on-site role)Shift: Aligned to Canadian (EST) business hours REQ Solutions is expanding its Canadian accounting outsourcing practice and is looking for 2 experienced professionals to support a Canadian client with financial statements and corporate tax work. Please read the requirements carefully this role is only for candidates who have hands-on experience preparing and filing Canadian Corporate (T2) tax returns.**If your experience is limited to US or Indian taxation, this is not the right fit, and we kindly ask that you not apply**

Responsibilities

• Prepare Canadian T2 corporate income tax returns from start to e-filing
• Prepare year-end financial statements (compilation / Notice to Reader, review engagements) from client trial balances
• Map financials to GIFI and reconcile schedules
• Handle CCA (Schedule 8), related/associated corporation schedules, and applicable provincial returns (e.g., Quebec CO-17, Alberta AT1)
• File via CRA EFILE / Corporation Internet Filing and resolve diagnostics before submission
• Communicate with the engagement team to clear review points accurately and on time

Experience Needed:

• Hands-on Canadian corporate tax preparation
• Proven experience filing T2 returns end-to-end
• Working knowledge of CaseWare (Working Papers / Cloud) for financial statement preparation
• Working knowledge of Taxprep (Corporate Taxprep / CCH iFirm Taxprep) or a comparable Canadian T2 tool such as ProFile, TaxCycle, Cantax, or DT Max
• Solid understanding of GIFI, Canadian financial statement formats, and CRA filing requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet filing deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience with multiple corporate clients in an outsourcing / public practice environment
• Familiarity with GST/HST and T4/T5 slips
