About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

1. Working hands-on of scientific instrument design, instrument assembly, prototype device development, product assembly & quality control.

1. Design & Drafting: Develop detailed 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and plans for products, tools, or structures.

1. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technical team, and project managers to understand requirements and integrate feedback.

1. Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and revision logs (ECNs).

1. Quality & Standards: Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulations, and project specifications, performing quality checks.

1. Prototyping Support: Assist in material selection, run simulations, and support the creation of initial prototypes by co-ordinating with fabricators.

Other requirements

Proficiency in CAD software ( SolidWorks).

Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerencing (GD&T).
