About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mechatronics CAD Design Engineer to join our design and development team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the design, prototyping, and development of innovative products by seamlessly integrating mechanical, electronic, and sensor-based systems. You will be responsible for creating CAD models, working with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with clients during the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1) Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and enclosures using CAD tools such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar.
2) Collaborate on product prototyping and development from concept to production-ready designs.
3) Integrate electronic components, sensors, and actuators into mechanical assemblies.
4) Prepare and maintain detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
Collaborate closely with electronics engineers, software developers, and industrial designers.
5) Participate in client meetings and product presentations; explain technical details and design choices clearly and professionally.
6) Conduct design iterations based on testing, feedback, and performance evaluations.
7) Ensure designs comply with manufacturing constraints, safety regulations, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2) Proven hands-on experience with CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar).
3) Experience in designing for prototyping, 3D printing, and mass manufacturing (CNC, injection molding, etc.).
4) Strong understanding of mechatronics systems, including actuators, sensors, PCBs, and embedded electronics.
5) Ability to read and work with circuit schematics and sensor datasheets.
