Role Description The CA Articleship Trainee will support the advisory team in day-to-day financial analysis, compliance, and reporting activities. Responsibilities include assisting in preparation of financial statements, working papers, and management reports, supporting audit and tax compliance processes, and helping with documentation and data gathering for client engagements. The trainee will also participate in research on regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices to support client advisory projects. This is an internship role, based on-site in Pune City, offering practical exposure to SME-focused financial advisory and professional development under experienced mentors. Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (completed CA Intermediate or as per institutes articleship eligibility requirements).
- Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, taxation, and corporate finance concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare schedules, and assist in financial modeling or projections.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to maintain accurate working papers.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work diligently under supervision and deadlines.
- Interest in SME finance, investment readiness, and governance-focused advisory will be considered a plus.
