Key Responsibilities
Planning platform ownership and business translation
a. Act as the functional bridge between business planners, BT, SAP/Anaplan teams and implementation partners for o9/APS planning workflows.
b. Understand planning outputs, identify deviations, convert planner feedback into clear functional requirements and support resolution of defects, gaps and enhancements.
c. Support adoption of o9 planning outputs by explaining solver behaviour, data dependencies and practical planner actions.

d. Review supply planning outputs across relevant modules such as RCCP, DPP, DRP, inventory, demand supportability, distribution plan, production plan and capacity utilization.
e. Reconcile input demand, inventory, supply, capacity, sourcing and execution data to validate whether the plan is reliable and actionable.
f. Identify root causes of planning issues such as broken network, missing sourcing, inactive SKU mapping, inventory norm gaps, capacity constraints, MOQ/batch-size effects, lead-time issues or planner overrides.
Functional depth across planning domains
a. Bring strong working knowledge in at least two areas among Supply Planning, Logistics/DRP, Sourcing, Procurement and Demand Planning.
Data, reporting and analytics
a. Work with structured exports and planning reports to diagnose plan quality, adoption, demand-supply gaps, inventory imbalance and execution variance.
b. Define business-readable KPIs and exception summaries that help planners and leadership take decisions quickly.
Supply Chain Excellence and continuous improvement
a. Train and support planners on planning-system ways of working, report interpretation, input hygiene and exception resolution.
b. Document recurring issues, standard operating procedures and business rules.
c. Drive continuous improvement with BT, o9 and business teams to improve planning accuracy, adoption and execution outcomes.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Statistics, Business Management or a related field. MBA or post-graduation in Supply Chain/Operations is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification or practical exposure in supply chain planning, APS platforms, o9, SAP IBP, data analytics or project/product management will be an added advantage.
Experience:
4–6 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, consulting, planning transformation, APS implementation or planning operations.
Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing or consulting is preferred.
Must have worked on or implemented an APS/planning platform such as o9 or any comparable platform. Experience only as a generic IT/business analyst without planning-process exposure will not be sufficient.
Should have strong functional experience in at least two of the following areas: Supply Planning, Logistics/DRP, Sourcing, Procurement or Demand Planning.
Skills:
Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and planning-system behaviour.
Hands-on exposure to o9 or another APS platform such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or OMP.
Functional depth in at least two of: Supply Planning, Logistics/DRP, Sourcing, Procurement, Demand Planning.
Ability to analyze planning outputs, reconcile data and identify root causes across master data, transactional data, process and configuration.
Strong Excel and analytical skills; exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python or data visualization is an advantage.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business issues into clear action plans.
Good communication skills with comfort in senior stakeholder discussions, workshops, documentation and training.
FMCG planning, consulting or planning transformation experience preferred.
