We're seeking a Research Analyst leader to collaborate the development of an intelligent decision-making platform that will transform how Amazon makes operational decisions. This role drive product pilots, demonstrating innovative thinking and customer focus. You'll build scalable solutions, write high-quality code, and develop state-of-the-art AI models. You'll coordinate between science and software teams, optimizing solutions. The role requires thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and working independently with AI models.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Applied Scientists to implement ML/LLM solutions that meet business goals
- Conduct product pilots demonstrating customer obsession and innovation
- Develop scalable solutions by writing high-quality code, building ML/LLM models using current research breakthroughs and implementing performance optimization techniques
- Act as a bridge between science and software teams to deliver optimized solutions
- Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels
- Develop technical documentation for Design specifications, Algorithms, Implementation challenges and Performance metrics
- Monitor and maintain existing solutions to ensure peak performance
About the team
We operate at the intersection of product, science, and GTM — building a platform that connects decision systems across Amazon so that one signal makes all of them smarter. The platform is live with founding tenants, scaling to broad GA, and building pipeline for pan-Amazon adoption. This role is critical to ensuring that every tenant that enters the funnel moves through onboarding with velocity, quality, and trust. You will work directly with platform leadership, applied science, engineering, BAs, and tenant-side stakeholders to drive the operational machinery that turns platform readiness into production impact — one tenant at a time, then many in parallel.
### Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
